Day 146

I can't believe I did it again. I forgot to take a picture of our dinner guests! I am so sad :(. Anyway, President was on his way to Eureka, but Hailey and I got to enjoy a wonderful dinner with Elder Watts, Elder Ogle, Elder Jones and Elder Crane. It was wonderful to spend a little time with them. They are excellent Elder's. They taught us a first discussion and we loved it. Missionaries teach with power and you can feel it, even though you have known it for many years. I will never tire of having them teach us and share their testimony and spirit with us!

Day 145

Elder Dena Gaspar (Australia), Sister Julia Darley (Layton, UT), Elder Michael Millett (Mesa, AZ) and Elder Stephen Isaacson (American Fork, UT). These are some of our wonderful missionaries serving in Vallejo. Elder Gaspar is just about to return home! He has truly been exceptional. We love these missionaries!

Day 144

Tonight we went to a baptism in the Bennett Valley Ward. Brother Jack Brown was baptized by Elder Marcus Reid. The above photos are before and after (baptism) shots. I love them. The photo below is of Brother Brown with many of the missionaries that have taught him along his journey. I think Elder Reid was the first, and then Elder Jensen, Elder Chaichana (who played a beautiful musical number at the baptism), Elder Putnam (who spoke on baptism), Elder Norton (who spoke on the Holy Ghost) and Elder Hubbard. I know there were others who weren't able to be there tonight, but the spirit was strong and the feelings unmistakable, as Brother Brown entered through the gate to eternal life. Hailey and I were blessed to be there.

Day 143

This is Sister Kelsey Peltier (Vernal, UT) and Sister Elizabeth Giraldo (Greenacres, FL). Aren't they the cutest? They are such great missionaries! They have such a strong spirit. Each of them! Their love and warmth just reaches out to everyone they meet. They are wonderful teachers, and they are happy being missionaries. I wanted their parents to have a peek at them today!

Day 142

This is Elder Austin McGee (Holbrook, AZ) and Elder Brendan Hubbard (Grand Prairie, Canada) with Elder Oaks head in the background. These are a few happy, obedient, hard working, wonderful missionaries. I just wanted their parents to get a peek at them today! They are doing VERY WELL!

Day 141

This is Elder Josh Sponbeck (Murray, UT). See his happy face? That is who he truly is! That smile is always on his face! Everyone can feel the Savior's love when they talk with him. He is bright light in our mission.

Day 140

This is Elder Thomas Jones (Springville, UT) and Elder Levi Crane (Lucile, ID). They were the ones having a baptism right after Stake Conference on Sunday. They baptized two brothers! They are a couple of excellent Spanish Elders! We are so blessed to have these two moving the work forward here in Santa Rosa! They are loving, hard working, obedient and kind hearted. We love these Elders!
